On Sunday 27th October we look forward to welcoming a speaker from the development agency Tearfund at our Harvest Thanksgiving services at 10.00 am and 11.30 am.

Tearfund work with the local community in many of the poorest countries in the world offering hope and development opportunities. It is one of the main partner agencies of the Church of Ireland Bishop’s Appeal and our loose collection on Harvest Sunday will go to the work of the Bishop’s
Appeal. If you are a UK Taxpayer you can increase the value of your donation by an extra 25% at no cost to yourself through filling in a gift aid envelope which will be in the pews on Harvest Sunday.

In the evening, our special preacher will be Canon Michael Parker, the Rector of St.Gall’s, Carnalea.

Our evening Harvest celebration will be followed by a supper in the hall hosted by the Mothers’ Union.

At Harvest we are always grateful for donations of flowers, greenery and fruit to decorate the church and the produce from the Harvest is usually distributed to those who are housebound on Monday. If you can assist with that process please do come to the church at 9.30am on Monday 28th October. We would be very grateful for your help.
