Messy Church Online will be available from 27th November on our website. We would encourage you and your family to get involved.

Our theme this time is Advent – light and hope.

What is Advent?

Advent is an important part of the Christian calendar. It means ‘coming’ and it’s the period before Christmas, which celebrates the birth of Jesus. It is all about preparing for Christmas Day. Advent starts on the Sunday nearest to 30 November.

In his talk, Jono, our Rector will tell us a bit more about Advent focusing, in particular, on how light enters the darkness and hope comes through the birth of Jesus.

“The true light that enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.”

John 1:9

There will be songs to listen to and a cartoon to watch. There’ll also be some crafts and puzzles for you to do. It will be fun!

What you will need for the crafts
