Dear all,

As part of our ‘Strength for the task – building and rebuilding’ resource events coming up after Ascension, we are excited to be able to let you know about 2 short evenings on personal evangelism from one of the top leaders in this area.  The evenings will be led by David Collum, the CEO of the highly regarded Pocket Testament League (PTL.org). The PTL is an international organisation that provides free copies of John’s Gospel to millions of people in over 35 countries every year.

This training is specially designed to encourage ordinary people in churches to learn how to rely on God in sharing the Word with others.  It is for people at any stage of their faith and will particularly suit those who feel a lack of confidence around sharing the Gospel.  A good example of this is on the following PTL 3-min video link.

As you may know, over 60,000 free John’s Gospels were provided by PTL to parishes in the diocese for distribution at Christmas and this is a great opportunity to learn how to share them one-to-one and also how to get the church involved more widely in using them to reach others.

Both evenings complement each other, but can be attended separately, if needed. They are on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th May 2021 from 7:30-9:00pm.  Please sign up separately at the links below.
