With Christmas just around the corner and the cost of living continuing to rise, most of our CAP clients are already beginning to be anxious about the additional cost. At CAP we want to help relieve some of the pressure Christmas brings by helping to cover some of those extra costs.
You have been so generous in supporting our Christmas Appeals in the past, I would like to ask again if you would be willing to help.
In speaking to our clients, rather than giving them a supply of tinned & dried food, when asked what their most urgent needs are they said, “heat, light, meat, fresh fruit & veg, toys and clothes”. So this year, as well as giving them a smaller Christmas treat box, we want to give them vouchers to enable them to purchase those essentials they would otherwise have to do without. Will you help?
We would love it if you could donate some money to our Christmas Fund which we will convert to vouchers for specialist shops that will enable our clients to purchase those things they need for Christmas e.g. local butcher meat voucher, local fruit shop voucher, etc which will help support local businesses as well as helping our clients. Any extra money received will be used throughout the year for on-going support for our clients.
There are a few ways you can contribute:
1) Cheque made payable to “WPCA” and forwarded to: CAP Centre,
Micah Centre, 149a My Lady’s Road, Belfast BT6 8FE
2) Online direct payment to: Willowfield Parish Comm Assoc, Danske Bank, 950114/80033383 (with Ref: CAP Appeal)
3) Direct donation to our Kindlink page: https://www.kindlink.com/fundraising/ willowfield-parish-community-association/capgiving .
I know it will be a tough year for everyone this Christmas but anything you can give to help others less fortunate, will be greatly appreciated.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Thank you and may the joy of Christmas be yours in abundance as we celebrate the One who made it all possible.
